A really nice place to visit, it feels a little rustic and amateur in some ways which is perhaps half the charm. A little more guidance on what you are looking at in the rooms for example, or an audi… Full review by VinnieVX7

There isn't a specific day ticket advertised for this route, but regular train tickets allow for round trip travel on the same day. Tickets start at around €8 (US$9) and the journey takes about 1 hour each way. You can purchase tickets online through SNCF Connect, the national railway company of France. Be sure to book your tickets for the Monet's Gardens in advance, especially during peak season. Tickets can be purchased online on the Giverny website. The train station in Vernon-Giverny is located about 3.5 kilometers from the gardens.

If by tram and bus, you mean the train from Paris to Vernon and the shuttle bus from Vernon to the Monet House and Gardens in Giverny, then yes, that is still one way to get there. The train goes from Gare St Lazare to Vernon. Just Google "Paris to Giverny" and search for the SCNF website to get the schedule of the 14 trains going there. Also Google "Vernon to Giverny Shuttle 2023" for the prices and times. It is also recommended that you purchase your Monet House & Gardens tickets in advance. You might also look at Rick Steve's postings about visiting Giverny. Hope you find this helpful!! Enjoy your visit!

Hi Karen. We visited at end of September last year and only bought a ticket a few days before. We could easily have bought one on the day as we arrived on opening time, but it made it a little faster. There are always going to be stacks of people whenever you go. Don't worry too much about the weather, we had greyish skies, some sun and intermittent showers, and it was still so beautiful and colourful. If you want to see the gardens just go,
