There isn't a specific day ticket advertised for this route, but regular train tickets allow for round trip travel on the same day. Tickets start at around €8 (US$9) and the journey takes about 1 hour each way. You can purchase tickets online through SNCF Connect, the national railway company of France. Be sure to book your tickets for the Monet's Gardens in advance, especially during peak season. Tickets can be purchased online on the Giverny website. The train station in Vernon-Giverny is located about 3.5 kilometers from the gardens.

The train goes from Gare St Lazare to Vernon. Just Google "Paris to Giverny" and search for the SCNF website to get the schedule of the 14 trains going there. Also Google "Vernon to Giverny Shuttle 2023" for the prices and times. It is also recommended that you purchase your Monet House & Gardens tickets in advance. You might also look at Rick Steve's postings about visiting Giverny. Hope you find this helpful!! Enjoy your visit!

Don't worry too much about the weather, we had greyish skies, some sun and intermittent showers, and it was still so beautiful and colourful. If you want to see the gardens just go,
