While you are in the area I would also highly recommend seeing the World War I museum in Kansas City. It is WELL worth the visit and one could spend an entire day there. Not many people know about this very overlooked museum and it is one of the best of its kind.

It is street parking in front of the home. I would guess if you were there right when it opened, then there would not be a problem. You must first get your tickets a few blocks away which requires another parking space - again street parking. Of course, you could park in either of the two places and walk from here to there which is at the most 3 blocks?
Q:
Is there RV parking at or near the museum?
A:
Day parking during your visit is available.
