Estonia started to regularly close the Narva-1 border crossing with Russia between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. local time, the Estonian public broadcaster ERR reported on May 1.

Estonia will seek to raise the topic of Russia’s alleged jamming of GPS signals with the European Union and NATO after a series of disruptions affecting flights and maritime traffic.

Finnair will suspend its daily flights to Tartu, Estonia, after Russian GPS jamming forced two airliners to turn back from the eastern Estonian city’s airport.

Finnair said on Monday it is pausing flights to Tartu in eastern Estonia for one month due to GPS disturbances in the area, which Tallinn blamed on neighbouring Russia.
