Chrysler has told all suppliers to immediately suspend spending on the electric crossover project. The company has been working on the EV since the launch of the Airflow concept in 2022. CEO Chris Feuell says Chrysler needs to assess the market and the needs and wants of customers.

Chrysler has three vehicles in the pipeline, but a midsize crossover inspired by 2022's Airflow concept won't be one of them.

Dodge, and by extension, Chrysler get most of their business from people with bad credit. There are way more v6 chargers on the road than v8 models. The base price of a charger has now gone from 35k to 60k. Moving up-market is ultimately going to kill Stellantis.
