HOPKINS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - After a 3-day jury trial in the Hopkins Circuit Court, Michael Gibbs was found guilty of rape and child porn charges. According to a press release Gibbs’ sentencing is scheduled in the Hopkins County Circuit Court on November 4 at 9 a.m.

The jury will continue deliberating Frederic Rogers' sentence Wednesday, the man convicted for his role in killing seven people.

A King County jury found the state of Washington was not liable in the death of BLM protester Summer Taylor, said attorney Karen Koehler in a press release Thursday. On July 4, 2020 Taylor was with a group of Black Lives Matters demonstrators on Interstate 5 in Seattle.
