Each count carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison. But there is some doubt that Trump, if convicted, would face anywhere near that, or even jail time at all, given that he has not a repeat offender. Each count also carries a fine of up to $5,000. For Trump to be convicted on any of the counts, all 12 jurors must find him guilty.
