South Carolina authorities have released court clerk Becky Hill, who presided over the Alex Murdaugh murder trial, after she posted bond Wednesday following her arrest.

Former Colleton County Clerk of Court Mary Rebecca "Becky" Hill, 57, was charged with perjury, obstructing justice and misconduct in office charges on Wednesday.

Just when the Alex Murdaugh case seemed to be over, court clerk Becky Hill, accused of jury tampering during his trial, has been arrested on felony charges, including perjury and obstruction of justice.
