The state of Florida intends to seek the death penalty against Julie Sulpizio, the woman accused of luring Lake County deputies into an ambush that killed one deputy and injured two others, according to court records.

According to WFTV, the violent incident occurred when deputies responded to a disturbance call. The August ambush took the life of Master Deputy Bradley Michael Link and injured two others. In addition to the killing of Link, Sulpizio is facing 12 other charges linked to the shooting.
