Boeing's largest union said on Friday that talks will resume between the two sides on Oct. 7, as both seek an agreement that would put an end to a strike by around 33,000 of the planemaker's U.S. West Coast factory workers.

The union representing Boeing’s striking factory workers in the Pacific Northwest says it expects to resume negotiations with the company on Friday

The latest round of talks between Boeing and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers’ shall come after two parties last held formal negotiations more than a week ago, when two days of mediated sessions broke off.
