The township of Mount Olive lifted its water boil advisory on Friday, two days after it was put in place due to E. coli being found in its water systems. Samples taken last week found traces of the bacteria in the town’s Main Water System and Village Green Water System.

Authorities warn residents to boil their water after a water main break on Wednesday. The Freeland Municipal Authority alerted residents of a water main break at the intersection of Walnut and Centre Street.
