The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has issued a boil advisory for areas of Marshall and Grundy County due to a pressure loss on Wednesday. The boil advisory is in effect for the following communities named in the release: Liscomb Conrad Whitten A more specified affected area can be found on this map provided by the Iowa Regional Utilities Association (IRUA).

Around 100 Aiken water customers have been asked to boil their water before drinking. Residents of Plantation Drive and Spring Valley Court are asked to boil their water for one minute before consumption, the city announced in a news release Sept. 11. Plantation Drive and Spring Valley Court are in the Gem Lakes subdivision on Aiken's Southside.
