Detectives in the Bronx made another arrest in last week’s deadly stray bullet shooting that claimed the life of a 16-year-old girl. Police apprehended on Monday a 13-year-old boy accused of providing the gun used in the May 12 shooting that killed Evette Jeffrey in a crime that shocked and horrified the city.

A 13-year-old boy is now facing several charges in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old girl in the Bronx. He's the second person charged in the death of Evette Jeffrey, the first being a 14-year-old boy.

The boy shot himself in the left index finger inside the family’s house on E. 230th St. near Bronxwood Ave. in Wakefield 6:50 a.m. Sunday.
