A teenager died in Texas after getting struck by a semi-truck while getting off a school bus. The 15-year-old had just exited the Livingston ISD bus on U.S. Route 59 on Thursday when the deadly collision occurred, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

A truck driver alleged to have struck and killed a 15-year-old boy while he was exiting a school bus near Houston this week has been charged in connection with the incident, authorities say.

The crash took place on U.S. Highway 59 just north of Livingston and killed a 15-year-old boy. The truck driver was arrested on a homicide charge.
