Firefighters Sunday continued to make progress on the Airport Fire, which has scorched more than 20,000 acres, in Riverside and Orange counties.

The Orange County Fire Authority said a cold front is expected to bring light showers and cooler temperatures.

More than 100 homes were destroyed in the massive Airport Fire in Orange and Riverside counties, where 23,519 acres have been charred with containment now at 19 percent. The wildfire left several people injured and forced entire communities to evacuate their homes,
