NEW YORK CITY (WIS) - WIS alum and Columbia native Craig Melvin began co-anchoring the ‘Today’ show on Monday. The show announced in November Melvin would replace Hoda Kotb to co-anchor alongside Savannah Guthrie.
Craig Melvin is getting ready to start his new chapter as co-anchor of TODAY. In November 2024, nearly two months after Hoda shared her decision to leave TODAY, Craig was announced as the new face that will sit alongside Savannah Guthrie in the mornings.
After the change, Jones will exit her role hosting the third hour of “Today,” leaving Craig Melvin, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer as co-anchors. Melvin is also the co-anchor of the show’s first two hours alongside Savannah Guthrie.
