DirecTV is offering a one-time $20 credit to compensate for the loss of Disney channels and a $30 credit for customers who sign up for Dish Network’s Sling Orange or Fubo stream

DirecTV customers dealing with a blackout of Disney-owned channels ESPN and ABC will soon face another challenge – a higher bill. The c ompany is raising prices for its satellite TV and streaming services effective Oct. 6, 2024. The new prices will go into effect on their next billing cycle.

DirecTV told customers it's hiking prices next month, after ESPN, ABC and other Disney-owned channels went dark in an ongoing contract fight.
