Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says Donald Trump’s commanding lead among Republican candidates continues to get “larger and larger”. The former US president has surpassed Joe Biden as preferred leader in a recent Wall Street Journal poll, with Mr Trump leading 47 per cent to 43 per cent.
