BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Nineteen people, including three juveniles, were arrested when protestors clashed with NYPD officers during a pro-Palestine rally in Brooklyn Saturday, police said.

City Council Member, Shahana Hanif, 32, and State Senator, Jabari Brisport, 36, were among the many that flooded the streets of Midtown to show Palestinian support.

The police moved in to make arrests after demonstrators left the college grounds and gathered outside. Officers punched some students and slammed others to the ground.
