That law took effect May 1. The Floridians Protecting Freedom lawsuit came two days after Palm Beach County attorney Adam Richardson filed a case at the Florida Supreme Court about the agency information on Amendment 4. That case remains pending.

The Leon County judge rejected an injunction request by the sponsor of the ballot measure and wrote it is not for the courts to intervene and "decide what the people will be permitted to consider."

The judge said Floridians Protecting Freedom had not established legal standing to challenge the disputed information.
