Milton, an “extremely dangerous” Category 3 hurricane made landfall at Siesta Key near Sarasota, Florida on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. Forecasts predict Milton will continue an east-northeast trajectory at 15 mph and pass through central Florida before moving over the Atlantic on Thursday.
