Israel's military say Iran's Hamas coordinator, Saeed Izadi, has been killed in a strike in the country's north-eastern city of Qom.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any military action by the U.S. in the escalating war with Israel would be "very, very dangerous for everybody."

Mohammed Said Izadi, one of the commanders Israel said it killed, was one of the few people who knew in advance about Hamas’s plan to launch a surprise attack on Israel, The New York Times has reported.
