Muhammad Sinwar, one of the remaining top leaders of Hamas in Gaza, was reportedly targeted by Israel in a massive airstrike at a hospital in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon.

Mohammad Sinwar was born in Khan Younis in 1975. He is the younger brother of Yahya Sinwar, who masterminded the Hamas-led attacks on Israel that started the war in Gaza in October 2023 and in whose footsteps Mohammad Sinwar followed for much of his life.
