Israeli strikes on Palestinian territories have killed more than two-dozen Palestinians on Wednesday, according to local officials. They say an Israeli airstrike killed five Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and at least 20 people, including 16 women and children, were killed in the Gaza Strip.

Since then, according to the Palestinian health ministry, at least 698 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by the Israeli military and settlers. In the same period, around 23 Israelis, including security forces, have been killed in Palestinian attacks in the territory, according to Israeli officials.
