President Joe Biden invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House to help jumpstart negotiations with Congress on Ukraine aid.

The visit will “underscore the United States’ unshakeable commitment to supporting the people of Ukraine,” White House press xecretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Sunday.

Zelenskyy will meet with Biden at the White House and with congressional leaders on Tuesday amid debate about providing billions of dollars in additional military aid
