The Heathrow Tunnels have been closed down while several underground lines have been suspended. Several areas around the airport have been locked down, with images shared online showing the Terminal 3 drop off access closed as the area is surrounded by emergency vehicles.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after number of people were attacked with “a form of pepper spray ” by a group of men at a car park at Heathrow Airport, UK police said.

Several people inhaled the substance, the police said, and some were taken to the hospital with what the police described as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening injuries.
