The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that a total of 31 workers were rescued in the late hours of July 9 after an industrial tunnel collapsed in the city of Wilmington. “Thirty-one persons, all believed to be tunnel workers, have been safely removed from the tunnel alive without visible injury,” the update read. “None are missing.”
A new wildfire was reported 3:17 p.m. June 20 in Los Angeles County, California. LFD-VALLEY Fire has been burning on private land for 20 days. Currently, there is no data indicating the containment progress of the fire and its cause remains unknown.
