A bipartisan group of 14 attorneys general from across the country filed lawsuits on Tuesday against TikTok, alleging that the platform has “addicted” young people and harmed their mental health.

Internal communications of app employees were revealed in a version of a state lawsuit where redacted portions were visible.

In separate lawsuits filed Tuesday, the states allege that TikTok was deliberately designed to get children addicted to the app.
