Well, Gmail was paying attention, and the official account on X dropped a perfectly-timed post that has now gone viral. "It's a great day to send an email," the post read. As of Thursday afternoon, the post from Gmail has over 818,000 views.
Windows users have all been there-- the dreaded error message, otherwise known as the “Blue Screen of Death.” After 40 years, Microsoft is changing the design of the error screen, including the color. The software maker has announced the screen will be replaced by a “Black Screen of Death.”
At almost 0700 UTC, it perhaps optimistically added: "Our deployment of the fix is progressing quicker than anticipated and we expect impact to gradually mitigate as it progresses. We believe the issue will be resolved by our next update time."
