Several right-wing voices have falsely cast blame on Democrats, despite the suspect’s apparent support for the President

President Donald Trump said Tuesday morning he doesn’t want to call Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after the shooting of two state Democratic lawmakers and their spouses in his state over the weekend.

Tim Walz called for “leading with grace and compassion and vision and compromise and decency.” That proved too difficult for Donald Trump.

Republican Sen. Mike Lee deleted his controversial social media posts about the assassination of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband after several people criticized the Utah Republican for his comments.
