Law enforcement on alert for upcoming Cricket World Cup in New York ICC Men’s T20 World Cup’s India-Pakistan match is under threat, according to an NYPD Intelligence assessment.

The NYPD says the upcoming cricket World Cup could be "an attractive opportunity to perpetrate acts of violence or disruption," by terrorists.

The governor's office said there is credible public safety threat. The International Cricket Council's Men's T20 World Cup is scheduled to start on June 3 in Nassau County, New York.
