Players, rejoice: Nintendo Switch 2 restocks are going down at Best Buy on Thursday, July 17.

It's all a part of a years-long push by San Francisco officials to welcome new businesses and foot traffic back to the city.

Starting Wednesday, June 25 at 9 p.m. ET, Walmart had both the Switch 2 and Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle in stock.

He was first in line waiting outside the store, arriving four hours ahead of its opening. He hoped to secure a limited supply of Nintendo accessories to buy along with his pre-ordered Switch 2.

Nintendo Switch 2 preorders went live on April 24 and swiftly sold out at major retailers. The console starts at $449.99 and is set for launch on June 5.
