Oil prices fell on Friday after the White House delayed a decision on U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict yet they remained on course for a third consecutive weekly rise.

U.S. oil prices already jumped last week, which could cause prices at the pump to rise about 20 cents a gallon in the coming weeks, according to one estimate.
