By Luc Cohen NEW YORK (Reuters) -A Pakistani man with alleged ties to Iran pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges stemming from an alleged plot to assassinate an American politician in retaliation for the killing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards top commander Qassem Soleimani.

Curtis Coleman, III, pleaded guilty to charges of murder in the third degree and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number. The plea was entered late Wednesday afternoon in Mercer County Court of Common Pleas.
