Kennedy Jr. has successfully removed his name from the ballot in at least three battleground states after dropping his independent campaign for president last week, but he’ll remain on the ballot in two states where his candidacy could help Vice President Kamala Harris.

Robert F. Kennedy’s Jr.'s request to remove his name from the ballot in Wisconsin was denied by a judge who ruled Monday that state law mandates that candidates remain on the ballot as long as they are still alive, the Associated Press reported.
