Two Georgia election workers asked a federal judge to hold Rudy Giuliani in contempt for allegedly continuing to defame them in violation of a court order.

Rudy Giuliani is expected to appear in a federal courtroom in Washington, D.C. Friday where a judge will weigh a request to hold the former Mayor of New York City in contempt in his defamation case.

Rudy Giuliani ’s legal morass has, incredibly, gotten even worse. On Monday the former New York mayor was found in contempt of court for failing to turn over assets to two Georgia election workers he defamed. Manhattan federal judge Lewis Liman said he will rule on “appropriate sanctions” against Giuliani at a later time.
