A combined Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight killed at least 15 people — including an American citizen — and wounded scores of others, according to Ukrainian officials.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 440 drones and 32 missiles on the night of 16-17 June, with the capital suffering the largest-scale strike.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy called the attack on Kyiv "one of the biggest" in the war and said that Moscow's forces fired more than 315 drones and seven missiles at Ukraine overnight.
