Overnight, Russia's air defence intercepted and destroyed 16 Ukrainian drones. The Russian defence ministry reported downing of thirteen drones in the Rostov region, while the remaining were taken down over Astrakhan and Volgograd regions.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses shot down 23 Ukrainian drones overnight into Monday.

Russian forces carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, overnight on Monday, killing at least six civilians and injuring more than a dozen others, according to local officials and Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office.
