Ukraine has conducted strikes on several key bridges in Russia's Kursk region to support its ground forces.

A wave of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russia overnight killed a woman near Moscow, Russian officials said on Tuesday, the first time someone has been killed near the capital since the start of Moscow's offensive.

The attack, the third large-scale bombardment in a week, coincided with intense fighting in eastern Ukraine and Russia.
