Russia unleashed a major missile and drone assault against Odessa in southern Ukraine in the early hours of Monday, killing at least two people, cutting power and badly damaging the port, including grain infrastructure.

On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed on Telegram that four Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over the annexed Crimean peninsula and the northwest Black Sea. Two other drones were shot down over the Kursk region, according to the same source.

Ukraine’s air force reported downing all Russian drones launched overnight, but one of 12 Kalibr missiles and two P-800 Oniks cruise missiles got through.
