NASA and SpaceX are targeting no earlier than Thursday, Sept. 26, for the launch of the Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station.

NASA and SpaceX have shifted the launch of the Crew-9 mission, which is supposed to transport a crew to the orbiting laboratory for a six-month science mission and return Boeing's Starliner astronauts stuck in space back to Earth.

Nick Hague, an active US Space Force Guardian, will lead the next ISS mission in his role as a NASA astronaut. The mission is targeting a Sept. 25 liftoff, a new one-day delay.

SpaceX Crew-9 mission was originally slated to launch four astronauts in the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft for the mission that would continue until February 2025, it is now sending only two crew on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
