Riding atop a fuel cell filled with a million pounds of liquid kerosene, SpaceX launched 21 Starlink communications satellites on a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 6:45 p.

SpaceX has scrubbed their Wednesday afternoon launch attempt of a Starlink mission. Now, 21 satellites are expected to head to low-Earth orbit tomorrow morning.

Update by the edhat staff The SpaceX launch was successful at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. The Falcon 9 rocket launched 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The airline has used other providers to offer Wi-Fi on board, typically for an extra charge to passengers. Currently, Starlink’s high-speed Wi-Fi is only available on JSX or Hawaiian airlines in the U.S. Some international airlines have also announced plans to use Starlink.
