Ryan Routh is facing two federal gun charges after authorities alleged he pointed a rifle at a golf course where the former president was playing.

Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, was lying in wait for nearly 12 hours along the tree line at Trump’s golf club, authorities said in a criminal complaint on Monday.
