A federal judge in Washington on Friday gave the Trump administration one week to identify its efforts to return Kilmar Abrego García, as well as 137 Venezuelan men deported to an El Salvador prison under the wartime Alien Enemies Act — a ruling that came a few hours before the U.

A U.S. judge on Friday will weigh claims that President Donald Trump's administration is improperly failing to provide details about its efforts to return a man to Maryland after he was wrongfully deported to a prison in El Salvador.

Justices said the Trump administration can’t use the Alien Enemies Act to expel migrants while litigation continues.
