The presidential race has tightened in the wake of the debate performance by Ohio Sen. JD Vance, a new national poll shows.

Harris leads by 0.8 points in Pennsylvania in FiveThirtyEight’s polling average and the two are tied in Real Clear Politics’ polling average, while an Emerson College poll released Oct. 1 found them tied at 48% and a Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll found Harris leading by five points.
