Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill called for the firing of one of the officers who detained him Sunday before a game, while acknowledging that he could have better handled his interaction with the police.

Miami-Dade police said Sunday they will investigate why Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was handcuffed and placed facedown on a street by their officers after he was stopped for a traffic violation near Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday,

According to multiple reports, including a statement from the Dolphins, police detained Hill for a traffic incident outside of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Darlington reported he was cited for reckless driving, and that a verbal altercation with the police during the traffic stop led to his handcuffing.
