The U.N. Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA said six staffers were killed in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip on Wednesday, marking what it said was the highest death toll among its staff in a single incident.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees says six of its employees have been killed in an Israeli air strike on one of the schools it runs in central Gaza. Unrwa said it was "the highest death toll among our staff in a single incident" since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas in October.
