Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia are set to meet in Abu Dhabi on Feb. 4-5 for a new round of talks as part of ongoing efforts to negotiate a peace deal, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Feb. 1.

Negotiators from the US, Russia and Ukraine are set to meet in Abu Dhabi for trilateral security talks across two days. It's the first time the three sides are meeting together since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Envoys from Russia and Ukraine met in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for another round of U.S.-brokered talks on ending the almost four-year war, a Ukrainian negotiator said.

The three-way talks come hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the settlement in Ukraine with U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys during marathon overnight talks. The Kremlin insisted that to reach a peace deal, Kyiv must withdraw its troops from the areas in the east that Russia illegally annexed but never fully captured.

Ukrainian, US and Russian officials will meet in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, to have a Diplomatic talk to end Ukraine war.

In the past, Ukrainian and Russian negotiators have relied on Americans to mediate, and it was unclear how the talks would play out.

Russian and Ukrainian officials are in Abu Dhabi for three-way talks, brokered by the United States. Delegations are expected to cover key issues, mainly around territorial disputes and Ukraine's security guarantees.
