Travis King, the U.S. Army private who ran across the border from South Korea to North Korea last year will plead guilty on Friday at a general court martial hearing.

US soldier Travis King has been sentenced to 12 months of confinement for desertion after crossing into North Korea from South Korea in July 2023. He pleaded guilty to five charges, including assault and disobeying orders.
