Officials have confirmed a rare collision between two U.S. Navy ships. Col. Emmanuel Ortiz, a U.S. Southern Command spokesman, said in a statement that the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Truxtun and the Supply-class fast combat support ship USNS Supply collided during a replenishment-at-sea on Wednesday.
