With exports surging and imports falling, the Commerce Department released a report on Tuesday showing the U.S. trade deficit

The US trade deficit narrowed in August as exports grew while imports dipped, government data showed Tuesday. The goods and services deficit decreased nearly 11% month over month to $70.43 billion, the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Analysis reported.
